Marcie Sandalow

Marcie Sandalow has been selling houses since 1999, though her immersion in the world of real estate goes back a lot longer. Her mother was an agent, and in fact, co-owned Chambers-Cross, a real estate office in the Chicago suburbs (Winnetka).  After spending her post-college years on the west coast and in couple of earlier careers, Marcie (who rarely talks about the fact that she has a degree in Asian History) eventually found her way back to her real destination: real estate.

As the mother of two teenage boys, governess to Willie the Dog and the wife of a journalist, Marcie is outnumbered by strong-minded males in her personal life–her colleagues are convinced that these circumstances have further shaped her calm, down-to-earth and no-nonsense, yet often motherly approach to business.

Marcie’s area of expertise is concentrated in Bethesda/Chevy Chase, where she lives, though she is well versed in the overall DC market. She is actively involved in the community and schools, having served as membership coordinator for the East Bethesda Citizens Association, and a two-year term as PTA Co-president at Chevy Chase Elementary School. She recently served as co-vice president for the Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School PTSA. Marcie’s got great contacts and a wealth of information about the region.
