Silver Spring

Silver Spring AcornSilver Spring occupies roughly 7.2 square miles of land surrounding the northernmost “apex” of the DC border. It’s home to the Discovery Channel, the old Canada Dry Bottling Plant, Brookside Gardens, the American Film Institute and just over 70,000 residents. President Lincoln is said to have visited multiple times during the Civil War.
