I moved to Washington, D.C. from my native state of Wyoming over 25 years ago and worked for U.S. Senator Alan K. Simpson for 18 years, assisting constituents, and dealing with high powered political figures and lobbyists. I learned first hand the art of negotiation, the importance of good communication skills and the absolute necessity of being organized and focused. I can assure you that “customer service” is more than just a catch-phrase to me – – it’s a way of doing business.
Buying or selling a home can be exciting. But it can also be stressful. Having lived and worked in the D.C. Metropolitan area for 25+ years I bring a wealth of experience and first hand knowledge of the surrounding neighborhoods and local real estate market. I am a customer-service oriented real estate agent who helps buyers and sellers in the District of Columbia and Maryland. I know the neighborhoods, the schools, the parks and recreational centers, the shopping centers and the restaurants, and I promise to keep you informed at every step of the process so you can make the best decision for you and your family.
Beyond real estate, I am also an actively involved resident of Chevy Chase, Maryland and Montgomery County. I served as PTA president at both the elementary and middle school levels, was a cluster representative and voting member for the Bethesda-Chevy Chase cluster of schools, a voting member of MCCPTA, co founder- and newsletter editor of the B-CC High School Baron Pride parent organization, board member of the B-CC High School Sports Boosters Organization, on the executive committee of GirlsUp and The Young Women’s Project and have served on numerous committees for Many Hands of Washington, D.C.
I live in Chevy Chase, Maryland with my husband Steve and our two daughters, Grace and Frannie. When I’m not working, I enjoy playing tennis, hiking, trying new restaurants, reading and walking around the neighborhood with my dog, Lulu!
